SDH Sogam Gets Gynecologist; Locals Hail Youth Leader Adv. Sajid Yousuf for ‘Making It Possible’

Sogam (Kupwara): Sub-district Hospital Sogam on Saturday saw the appointment of a gynecologist for the first time since its inception, thanks to the efforts of youth Advocate Sajid Yousuf Shah, who as per the locals, took the issue with top authorities from time to time.
As per details available with The Global Kashmir, Dr. Waseem Rasool, Consultant Gynecologist, previously performing his duties at District Hospital Shopian, has been shifted and appointed to the post of Gynecologist at Sub-district Hospital Sogam.
Pertinently, the issue was raised by a young political leader, from ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, Advocate Sajid Yousuf Shah, with different authorities and offices including that of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and incumbent Divisional Commissioner Vijay Kumar Bidhuri.
Expressing their joy over the appointment of a Gynecologist at the health facility, the locals were in all praise for Advocate Sajid Yousuf Shah for making it happen for them. “We had been taking the issue on different forums but it didn’t yield us much until we met young leader Advocate Sajid Yousuf Shah and informed him about it”, said a group of locals adding, “It all is because of his genuine concern for his people that made it possible for us.”
“We wholeheartedly extend our gratitude to the young leader for making it possible for the area”, they further said.
