NTA will conduct UGC NET Exam 2022 in June, Says UGC Chairman

UGC NET 2022: The upcoming University Grants Commission (UGC) -National Eligibility Test (NET) will be held in the first or second week of June this year, according to UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar UGC NET Exam 2022.


The date of the UGC-NET test (the combined cycles of December 2021 and June 2022) has not been announced. When the NTA completes the dates, a specific timetable will be announced.

In an official twitter post Kumar wrote “In the combined rounds of December 2021 and June 2022, the next UGC-NET will be held in the first / second week of June 2022. The exact program will be announced when the NTA completes the dates.”

NTA will conduct UGC NET Exam 2022

The UGC-NET Exam is held twice a year. However, due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the UGC has decided to combine testing cycles and hold them once a year. Last year the NTA conducted Phase I of the UGC-NET December 2020 and June, 2021 between 20 November 2021 and 05 December 2021, Phase II between 24 December and 27 December 2021 and Phase III on -04 and 05 January, 2022 with Computer Based Test (CBT) mode

The UGC National Qualification Assessment, or UGC NET, was conducted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) to determine the eligibility of Indian people to qualify as an Assistant Professor, Junior Research Fellowship or both, at Indian Universities and Colleges.
