LG Sinha, Mission Youth to provide 10,000 Job Opportunities in 2022

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday launched the dedicated Youth website in partnership with Vision India, to connect J&K youth with the industry. The program aims to provide more than 10,000 youth employment opportunities by 2022 LG Sinha Mission Youth.

Connect to Opportunities Initiative’ – is provided to assist our youth with the flow of real-time information to inform students about pre-installation jobs and career opportunities. All ITIs and other technical institutions at UT will be included in the program to get the best results for our young people.

Lt Governor said the J&K Administration has taken a number of steps to build infrastructure, programs and policies to accelerate economic development, and to meet the aspirations of young people so that they can contribute to society and develop themselves.

An easily accessible online forum will serve as a link between trained and competent staff and industry needs at J&K, he added. “The management of Jammu and Kashmir are committed to providing quality education, skills training and better employment for the youth,” said Lt Governor at the launch of an online website dedicated to connecting youth with job opportunities. Lt Governor has asked the CEO, Mission Youth to organize job fair exhibitions in Jammu and Srinagar for the youth.

Mission Youth to provide 10,000 Job

Lt Governor said in view of the industries to be established in J&K under the New Industrial Scheme, special emphasis should be placed on training local youth to meet the needs of skilled workers. He also directed that research be done and that a database of all people be linked to job opportunities. Appropriately, acting as a bridge linking youth and industry, the Youth Mission under the AVSAR (Connect to Opportunities Initiative) has signed an MOU with Vision India to provide job opportunities for J&K youth.

The program aims to connect various companies

Nationally and internationally, with talented J&K youth and employers. Drs. Arun Kumar Mehta, General Secretary, while addressing the event called the AVSAR initiative as historic and unprecedented.
