This is for information of all the students of Other Backward Class (OBC), Economically Backward Class (EBC) and De-Notified, Nomadic &Semi Nomadic Tribes (DNT) studying in identified Top Schools of JK UT (list in https://yet.nta.ac.in), that Ministy of Social Justice and Empowerment is implementing an Umbrella Scheme namely PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (PM YASASVI) for the welfare of OBC, EBC and DNT Students In Top Class Schools.
JkBose:Pradhan Mantri Young Achievers – Scholarship Details are as under :

| 2.Selection Process: | By merit in the YASASVI Entrance Test (YET) conducted by National Testing Agency (details in https://yetnta.ac.in ) |
| 3. Mode of exam: | Computer Based Test (CBT) |
| 4. Applications open from: | 27.072022 to 26.08.2022 |
| 5. Correction window | 27.08.2022 to 31.08.2022 |

Eligibility
- Other Backward Class (OBC), Economically Backward Classes (EBC) and De-Notified, Nomadic & Semi-Nomadic Tribes (DNT)
- Parents’/ guardians’/ annual Income not more than Rs. 2.50 Lakhs.
- Studying in a Top Class School (list in https://yet.nta.ac.in ) in Class 9 or 11.
- Entitlement: Rs. 75,000 p.a. for Class 9/10; Rs. p.a. for Class 11/12covering the school/hostel fee
- Selection process: By merit in the YASASVI Entrance Test (YET) conducted by National Testing Agency (details in https://yetnta.ac.in )
In this connection all the selected schools whose list is available on the JKBOSE Official website www.ikbose.nic.in and also on https:nyet.nta.ac.in and https://socialjustice.gov.in / schemes/101 are requested to register the eligible students to ensure that maximum number of eligible students appears in the Entrance test for scholarship.

What is PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (YASASVI)
MSJ&E of the Govt. of India, has formulated a scheme known as PM Young achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (YASASVI) for award of scholarships to Other Backward Class (OBC), Economically Backward Class (EBC) and Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes De-notified Tribe(DNT) students, annual income of whose parents/guardian is not more than Rs. 2.5 lakhs, studying in identified Schools.
The award of scholarships is at two levels:
* For students who are studying in Class IX
* For students who are studying in Class XI
Selection of candidates for award of Scholarships under the Scheme is through a written test known as YASASVI ENTRANCE TEST (YET) 2022. MSJ&E of Govt. of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the YASASVI ENTRANCE TEST-2022 to NTA.
