CUET-2022: Common Entrance Test for All Central Universities to Be Held in the First Week of July, Regular entrance checks for all middle universities; to be held in the first week of July:

It will announce a test pattern on Tuesday. Admission to the degree programs at all 45 universities will take place at the entrance exam starting this year, and the exams will take place in the first week of July, University Grants Commission (UGC) chairman Jagadish Kumar told reporters on Monday.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct an entrance examination at the Central University (CUET). It will announce a test pattern on Tuesday. Kumar clarified that the performance of the Class 12 student will not be weighty and admission will only be based on the CUET result. Universities, at its best, could use the Board’s marks as a condition of eligibility, he said.

CUET-2022: Common Entrance Test for All Central Universities
There will be no standard advice on admission to middle universities. Each university will accept students based on a list of graduates prepared by the NTA. Notably, Kumar also clarified that admission to CUET will be compulsory for all central universities, when asked if institutions like Jamia Millia Islamia and Aligarh University will have to join the entrance test.
The entrance test will be based on the NCERT textbooks and will consist of three sections. Section I will deal with languages, Phase II will have background-based questions that the student wants to apply for and Phase III will be a standardized test that contains questions on current issues, general knowledge, numeracy, logical thinking and limited thinking. Candidate may appear in up to six domain-specific tests under category II.

CUET-2022: Common Entrance Test for All Central Universities
CUET 2022 will be offered in 13 languages, namely Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Punjabi, Odia and English.
International students who are interested in pursuing undergraduate studies in India have been exempted from CUET and their admission will be made through a regular supernumerary foundation.
The test will be done in two shifts. In the first shift the candidates will appear in category I (languages), two selected subject courses and general tests, and in the second shift, the candidates will appear in one of the four subject and category 1-B subjects, if selected.
