Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday said that there is a possibility that the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections can be held by the end of this year. Assembly Elections In J&K

While speaking in Jammu, Singh said that there is a strong possibility that the electoral process will commence by the end of this year in J&K.

He said, recently, the delimitation exercise concluded in J&K. Now, Jammu will have 43 seats & Kashmir will have 47 seats in Vidhan Sabha.

“Our neighbouring country is sowing the seeds of hatred. There’s a foreign conspiracy in recent targeted killings in J&K, we need to foil such attempts”, he said. Assembly Elections In J&K

Singh said, “We won’t let the forceful migration happen of any person from any religion or section.”

Notably, Singh is in Jammu and Kashmir since yesterday for a two-day visit to the Union Territory.
