70 union ministers will visit J-K for the 3rd phase of “Public Outreach Programme” from October 10

Srinagar: Around 70 union ministers will visit Jammu and Kashmir in the third stage of the “Public Outreach Programme” of the central government beginning on the 10th of October (Monday).

Sources told us that 70 ministers from the union would visit J&K starting Monday. Ministers will be visiting all 20 districts in J&K (10 for each of Kashmir and Jammu).

It’s the third outreach program of Union Ministers to J&K following the scrapping of Articles 370 and 35A as well as the bifurcation of J&K state into two Union Territories by the centre on 5 August 2019.

This Outreach Programme will start with the visit of the Minister of State in the Union for Food Processing, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution and Rural Development Department. The minister will take part in two day of visit to Baramulla district located in north Kashmir between 10 and 12 October.

The Union MoS for Finance Pankaj Choudhary will be visiting south Kashmir’s Shopian district between October 12 and 15.

Union MoS for Tribal Affairs Renuka Singh will visit the districts bordering Rajouri between the 19th and 20th of October.

Union MoS for Minority Affairs John Barla will be visiting the Ramban district between October 10-12.

Union MoS for Animal Husbandry, Dairying and fisheries Sanjeev Kumar Balian will be visiting Shopian district between October 11 and 12.

The Union Minister of Commerce and Industries Anupriya Patel will be visiting the Ganderbal district on October 12-13.

The Union Minister responsible for Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbanand Sonowal will be visiting the Ganderbal district between October 27 and 28, and the Union Minister Shantanu Thakur will visit the border district of Samba.

Union MoS for Education Subash Sarkar will be visiting south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on the 14th and 16th of October.

Rajnath Singh, Nirmala Sitharaman and Nitin Gadkari are all likely to be in J&K.
